Knob_microfreak STL is the whole multiencoder knob, it will have a seam.
To avoid that you can print it in vase mode, then print the _internal_knob_ file that goes inside. The previous printed in vase mode should have a base heigth equal to 0.7mm (let's say 1st layer 0.3mm, 2-3 2mm each), line width 0.42mm.
The two 3MF files are made on Prusa Slicer v2.4.7, Ender 3, PLA+ Sunlu.
Fit is right, if it's too loose / tight for you deal +-0.2mm in XY dimensions.
